The average individual in today's society is challenged with time when it comes to their health. No time to exercise or prepare healthier meal options for themselves or families. Leaving many people suffering with lack of energy, confidence, excessive weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure and other preventable issues.  
We want  to help busy women and men  like YOU strengthen your lifestyle and improve your quality of life (by limiting processed foods, combating emotional eating, managing daily stress, adding exercise, and more)

At Strengthen With V We take away the challenge by offering busy professionals convenient 30 minute structured group fitness classes designed to burn fat and the get results you desire, personalized NUTRTION coaching, one on one training sessions, workshops, cooking classes, and online educational resources. Allowing you to make better choices and improve your overall health all at your convenience.  
 To STRENGTHEN your lifestyle you will strengthen your mind, body, and soul as we also co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, and preferences. 
 

Our Approach

We coach busy women and men on a more holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

We work with our clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because we understand that life happens and your needs will change. We want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. We believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert, not the latest magazine article or fad diet book.

Let’s define what you value most from your well-being. We’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your coach, we will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working toward.

Accountability Nutrition Coaching

Strengthen With V was created with a goal in mind to help busy women and men like YOU learn how to nourish your mind, body, and soul one goal at a​ time through wellness, fitness, and nutrition coaching. It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to explore their wellness goals with a trained professional. As Integrative Nutrition Coaches, we create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. 

​

Our place as your guide and mentor is to empower you and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout each month as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, We'll assist YOU to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, you'll find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated.

About Vickee Motley, Owner

Coach Vickee is a fitness & clinical nutrition coach, certified personal fitness chef, and vegan enthusiast. She is the founder of Strengthen With V Nutrition & Fitness Coaching and author of Cooking Vegan with Vickee, and awesome book that allows everyone to improve their health and boost their immune system with plant-based options

 

She resides in Nashville, TN by way of Southern Illinois with her little cute Aleena and husband Kenneth.

I became a health coach because.....

Because I know what it’s like to have body insecurities: At the age of 16 I began to dislike my body. I had body issues. Undergoing surgery that left a huge scar behind. In my mind it was the most hideous thing and no one would like me.  It took me to my late 20s to finally feel comfortable in my own skin.

 

Because I know what it’s like to be sick all the time: In my mid 20s I had a breast cancer scare. An ordeal I know I should take serious. During that same phase in my life I always stayed sick, some type of infection or illness as well as horrible migraines.

 

Because I know what it’s like to see family and friends suffer: many of my family members suffer(ed) from many diseases/illnesses that can be prevented, reversed, or managed (such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease etc.)

 

Taking the steps to change many habits and create a new mindset around food (and my lifestyle in my early 20s) was not easy but, has changed my life. The cyst that was is no longer exists. Recurring illnesses and infections are no more. Migraines, what are those? Also because I had to realize I only had one body to live in, the scar was here to stay, and that I did not need anyone’s acceptance, I learned to love my physical flaws, feel secure, and be proud of the woman I am. I knew there had to be some other way. I knew there was an underlying issue that I had to get to. Now that I have gotten to the root (and still on my journey) I want to help others who may be going through similar issues. 

 As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands. Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
